UPDATES ABOUT POSHBID.COM (11/20/2009)

Past weeks we have been working to make PoshBid.com service better and more reliable.
While working with some technical difficulties we also have worked with some basic rules and features of PoshBid.com.

From Technical difficulties we were able to fix the Autobidder, its reliability and functions. Flash Auctions with its 30 sec interval. We also discovered that most our problems were server related. Due to that we decided last week to move our database and the website to a new server.

As for Non-Technical changes we have corrected our Terms and Conditions, its Winning Limits, Shipping destinations and Auction times.


SERVER
Last weekend we decided to move our database and auction site to our new server in Munich, Germany (Giga-Hosting GmbH). Most problems were server related.

As the server is brand new and needed some setup we are behind our schedule of re-launching our services (Basic configurations took 24hours). At the moment we are in the middle of full testing and we should be ready to go shortly.

As soon as the page is properly tested in the new server we will continue with our services and shipping out winnings from past weeks.
Invoices will be also sent for last auctions.
(We can not modify our database in the middle of changing servers)

COMPUTER SLOWDOWNS
Computer slowdowns were server related and are not possible with the new dedicated server.

AUTOBIDDER
Our AutoBidder ha been modified to make it more reliable and easier to use. Now our users are able to Pause and or Delete their AutoBidders at any point of the auction.

Notice! If you are setting your autobidder make sure that the auction timer has not passed 1 minute. This is important as Autobidders are run with 1 minute interval and if the auction timer is showing less than 1 minute it might not start at all. Therefore every user is suggested to place at least one bid before setting your auction to run with autobidder.

FLASH AUCTIONS 30Sec
When bidding on 30 second Flash auctions there is no more refreshing to the entire page.
However users are suggested to bid at the Auction Product Page to see the last 9 bids in real time. Also users are not suggested to bid on the last seconds.


BASIC CHANGES - Non Technical Changes

USER PROFILE
User Profiles have been updated, users are suggested to look over their profiles and correct their shipping information.

SHIPPING
Shipping Rates and Destinations are changed. PoshBid.com is now shipping to the United States of America, Canada and Member Countries of European Union.

WINNING LIMITS
One user may not win more than 3 auctions per week. So in any 7 day period (Monday-Sunday) user must only have won 3 or less auctions. User can win up to 1 featured auction within a 7 day period. Auctions are counted from Monday.

If a user reaches the limit (During the 7 day Period Mon-Sun), they will be sent an e-mail notification, stating their limit has been met and they are suggested to continue bidding from Monday, new week.

Bids placed by user who have reached their winning limits will not be accepted and their bids won’t be given back by PoshBid.com

If a user who has reached winning limits has participated on an auction and won, than the user will not be counted as a winner. The auction will be set to run from the point it was closed day before and bids won’t be refunded. User will be notified and may not participate on the auction after reset.

Winning Limits for bid packages- User may not win more than 1 bid package per week.

Notice! Total Wins per Week Allowed four (4) including one (1) Bid Package.

AUCTION TIMES
All Auctions start 2 hours later than used to from 12am-12pm EDT and Featured auctions usually start between 2-4 PM EDT.
Giving more users opportunity to participate on any auction held at PoshBid.com
